Faurecia-Aptoide Automovie (FAA) is a joint venture between Aptoide (one of the biggest appstores in the global market) and Faurecia, a market leading company in tech for automotive.
FAA's target is the future of automotive infotainment systems. They pair up with vehicle OEMs to create personalized experiences, with the product's usability and automotive guildelines always in mind.
The company wanted to update their presence on the web with a new website redesign. The website's fonts and colors were inspired by the logo, previously designed by me which had the colors changed internally later. One of the client's requirements was web animations, which were done using After Effects and implemented as Lottie animations.
The website was developed in Wordpress, with a template designed by our team, allowing FAA to easily add or remove content, such as news, team members and job opportunities. The website is also fully responsible, being designed for mobile, tablet and desktop.

Previous branding designed by me. The logo concept was to represent a wheel in motion using the colors from faurecia and aptoide combined.
In the first phase of the project, we reviewed the new branding done internally by FAA and proceeded to define a content architecture for the website as well as the content structure for each page. We then proceeded to build the website's wireframes (the ones presented below were embellished for a pitch presentation). With FAA's approval, we would then begin designing the website.
On the homepage, we wanted to summarize the company's information, displaying the about, history, and services as well as some call to actions for contacts and more information. The information was accompanied with generic fade animations and Lottie animations to add dynamics to the website:

Newsletter scroll lottie animation.

The careers page explains briefly the FAA's work environment, mission and benefits, allowing the user to quickly jump to the open positions section. The company members may easily add and share new job positions with customizable icons, categories, names and locations.
On the Meet the Team and Life at Faurecia-Aptoide we wanted to showcase life and motion. With the help of professional photos of the real FAA's team we assembled the Life at FAA page, showing real people in their real day-to-day work environment, showing some of the benefits of working in the company. In the meet the team page, we showcase the whole team and then individuals, providing the email and linkedin with a mouseover. FAA maybe easily swap, add or remove members with Wordpress.
The newsroom is a blog-like page, where FAA can easily publish and share articles, press releases videos and other media. By clicking any type of media, the user has access to similar media types, sticky on the right.
The developers page is intended to provide information for the FAA's developers while also providing technical information for interested clintes. The developers section is composed by a info page, a documentation page and external sign in for in-house developers.
Finally, the website also features a documentation page regarding design and development for automotive products. The page has a visible navigation section on the left. The first page has usefull links for the user and the navigation is separated in various sections with the purpose of not creating a long scroll page because of mobile devices.
